Frozen strawberry jam, which is also called garden strawberry, is a great option both for those who have had no berry season, or for those who have frozen their crop surplus. But many housewives are afraid to cook jam from frozen berries. It seems to them that the taste of such a delicacy will be much worse than jam made from fresh berries. In addition, thawed berries can limp and ferment. In fact, making jam from such berries is a snap. The main thing is to carefully choose the strawberry and carefully follow the recipe.
How to choose frozen berries

This recipe is very similar to the usual method of cooking strawberry delicacy, but it has its own subtleties. For him should be prepared:
- 2 kilograms of frozen strawberries;
- kilogram of sugar;
- a bag of citric acid.

- half of one lemon.

When the strawberry delicacy is ready, add the juice of half a lemon. After the jam has cooled, it should be poured into banks and stored in the refrigerator.
Jam from frozen strawberries in a slow cooker
You can even boil jam from frozen garden strawberries in a slow cooker. Best of all, the Milk Porridge mode is suitable for its cooking, but if it is not there, you can try it on the Multipovar, Soup or Quenching modes.Important! Due to the fact that the strawberry delicacy during the cooking process can greatly increase in volume, it will have to be cooked in a slow cooker in small portions.

- 300 grams of frozen strawberries;
- 300 grams of sugar;
